Today's harvest

Today I've harvested all of Chinese cabbages and I feel so satisfied with successfully growing Chinese cabbages starting at last September.

Raising Chinese cabbage required a lot of workload and chores such as setting up insect screen
and picking up bugs. But thanks to those chores I could deserve a good harvest and my family could enjoy delicious dishes.

My family are looking forward to raising Chinese cabbages.

Thats a big harvest. I hope this year when I sow them in autumn, it won't bolt.

Growing Chinese cabbages is challenging for me but I'm very happy to harvest all of them successfully! Chinese cabbages have ended up this season but I'm planning to plant them around this September.

What will you do with all those cabbages harvested at the same time? Will you pickle them? I have seen the Korean people make Kimchi. is there a similar thing in Japan?

Those Chinese cabbages are smaller than average and my family love them so much so we can eat them up in a week! I think my wife will cook Nabe dishes or pickle them. Kimuchi is originated in Korea but it is very popular in Japan, too.
Usually we buy Kimuchi sauce when we pickle them into Kimuchi since making Kimuchi sauce from scratch is difficult for us.
