Making hot chili powder and oil

Do you want to use a new electric tool to test it as soon as you've bought it? Yes, I do!

We made hot chili powder and oil using a new electric blender which my wife bought.

After we've got rid of seeds from chilies, we put them a glass case of the blender and turned it on and then,,,,,?

Here is a hot chili powder!

Besides the powder, we made hot chili oil, which is my favorite condiment, with adding boiled sesame oil to the chili powder.

Wow, I bet that is powerful! I remember once I tried to make chilli powder in a coffee-grinder that we keep specially for grinding spices (we hava another one for the coffee!). the grinding process filled the kitchen with choking chilli fumes and my eyes were running with tears.
Did you use chillis you had grown yourself?

That chilli powder sure looks like a powerful zinger! The chilli oil is used for frying?

Yes, I used the chilies I had grown and harvested in August and I had dried them. I am thinking of buying an extra glass case for the blender since ground chilies can be left in the case for long time. You are so smart that you have another blender only for grinding chilles! I am suffering sore eyes now...

Well, we'll use the chili oil as a condiment by adding Chinese foods or spreading it on a bread.
