My kids in "Mission Possible"

I don't force my kids to work in my garden but fortunately they seem to like using my tools like spade, knife and so on. I always let them use my tool in safe way and let them do easy jobs like digging, cultivating, and watering. Those are literally their "Mission Possible".

Today's their mission was helping me to plant onion's sprouts and to finish planting by sunset.
The first photo shows my kids cultivated soil and organize a planting bed. They seem to play at a glance but they were much serious than you think..

The second one shows they were making "planting grid" for onions. The grid allows us to make planting many seeds or sprouts easy. For example, we can see where we should plant seed or sprouts correctly with giving appropriate space between them or how many sprouts we've planted in the mid of job.

The last one photo shows we've completed our mission.
My kids seemed to fill fulfillment after their mission and are looking forward to harvesting the onions next spring.

Well, I'm happy to see my kids enjoy jobs in my garden and they can eat up vegetables which they used to hate.
They seem to enjoy involvement into my garden.

It's nice to show to your kid how to work in the garden.
Tell them that they do a great job.
