Today I went to a local shop, which is specialized for seeds and sprouts and dealing with much various kinds of them than other local home centers. The shop doesn't purchase any seeds and sprouts from other breeders but deal with only what the shop grow by itself.

I bought 4 Chinese cabbages and 2 Brussels sprouts, which are my new try. When I buy sprouts, I always pay attention to their appearance which can show if they are healthy or not. No hole on leaves is no bug in the soil in the pot.

That looks like a shop / garden centre I would like to visit too. Your Brussels Sprouts will soon grow too tall for the netting - they get very big. I also recommend you support each one with a stout wooden stake, because the plants get quite top-heavy and may be blown over by the wind.
I bought some veggie starts yesterday. Neither of the two places I visited was anywhere as interesting as your photos, and I did not find my most desired starts of broccoli. If it dries out, maybe I can plant what I bought here in Delaware, USA.

It's still hot in Osaka so I have to water my vegetables everyday! I think it's cooler in your place than mine so I guess good climate for you to start planting sprouts.
Good Luck with the brussel sprouts. I never tried growing them yet.
