Colorful okras and hot chilies

A yellow flower of "a purple okra ".

A fruit of a purple okra.
You can see red-violet trunks and twigs.

Purple okras and a green okra.
The taste is almost same.....

My hot chilies are mature enough to be harvested.
I'll make a red chili oil later.

Same as SB, I have never tasted the purple variety of okra.

The typhoon seems to be heading your way. I hope you, your family and your gardens will be okay.

Your chillis point upwards; mine point downwards. Why does that happen??? Mine are taking a very long time to ripen completely this year. We have had a poor Summer, with less sunshine than usual, and I think that is the reason they are being slow.

Yes, I will share my recipe of pepper oil on my blog!

A purple okra was originated in Okinawa or in southeastern Asia.
The typhoon is passing over my place now with downpour!

Well, I think the cold summer affected the growth of your pepper because a pepper likes plenty of sunshine. How about drainage in your garden?
Good drainage is also required for a good pepper's growth.
